My alter ego is a biochemist (many years in pharma discovery research with a drug -- telaprevir -- now in Phase 3 clinical trials) and now a regulatory medical writer who serves as a slavering minion to the dark lords of Pharma-dûr. Under yet another pseudonym, I blather here on the Bad Clam about stuff that is too nerdsome or irrelevant to my much more public blog which I have shamefully neglected of late, having been sucked into the black hole of LJ-land.
The LJ is predominantly friends-locked, not because I post My Very Private Thoughts™ on here, but to keep my disparate worlds from colliding. Be aware that my LJ droogs comprise a diverse group. Thus I view the Bad Clam as a pretty open place where divergent opinions are not only tolerated but encouraged.
So, if that doesn't scare you away, speak friend and enter. I don't bite. Usually.
